Whitney Grinnage-Cassidy

Community Building | Archives | Performing Arts

Whitney Grinnage-Cassidy is an educator and aspiring archivist focused on using her background in Black Studies, community-building, and performance art to create resources, produce knowledge, preserve history, and imagine safe spaces for marginalized groups.

 

Currently, she serving as the (Americorps) Career Readiness Specialist at Leading Youth Through Empowerment (LYTE), a college and career access program in Delaware. In this role, Whitney supports economically disadvantaged students by providing career exploration programming, professional development, workshops, field trips, and more. She holds a B.A. in Sociology & Black Studies from Swarthmore College.

 

Whitney is also passionate about music, theater, video games, reading, basketball, and spending quality time with friends and family.​ This site is home to all the things that bring Whitney joy. Thank you for visiting and happy exploring!
